I wanted this to be a good alternative to the splinter guard on my track saw track. I have found the rubber is to soft to do the job of suppressing the tearout of the wood fibers. It also wants to be pulled into the blade instead of resisting it during the initial cut after installation. In this case get the original guard from your manufacturer, you will be much happier with the end result.

Seems a little thicker good quality and long enough to put on 2 of my 55" tracks. Will see in time if it stays on the tracks than the original one
