Unsere professionellen, autoklavierbaren Deckel mit normaler Öffnung sind in Laborqualität gebaut und speziell für die Flüssigkeitskultivierung hergestellt.
Lassen Sie die Deckel im Schnellkochtopf eine Vierteldrehung locker, damit Luft entweichen kann, da sonst die Einspritzöffnungen herausspringen.

Die Deckel sind gut und vertragen 90 minuten bei 15psi. Jedoch muss die Temperatur beobachtet werden. die Filter vertragen gute 120 celsius aber nicht heisser ansonsten können die "Plastik" teile schmelzen.

Funktioniert absolut perfekt das beste Lid was ich jeh ausprobiert hab. ab und an sind die ein bisschen locker aber einmal kurz mitm Feuer ran dann passt es wieder. top qualität wär enur gut wenns günstiger wäre . Die Preise sind mehr als doppelt so hoch wie sie sein sollte deshalb kein erneuter kauf-

These lids melted and became unusable after being put in a pressure cooker for 90 minutes at 15psi, as is usual for mushroom cultivation. This is despite the listing stating they were ok to be used in this way.Very disappointing and a total waste of money.

I noticed the reviews complained of melting and rust. I did not see any other similar options on Amazon so I purchased RTV silicone. This silicone can be used to make self healing ports in lieu of buying a product like this. I used it on the bottom side of the lids around the rubber port. No rusting there, but I should’ve used it around the plastic part too. It is starting to rust there. Instead of pressure cooking/canning, I used a water bath method in a stock pot with aluminum foil over the lids. No melting. I think I’m going to try this again but use the silicone on the plastic part.

I must have misread the description. When I bought these I read 90mm diameter. They don’t fit my Ball quart jars. Luckily I bought some pint jars at the same time and these lids do fit pints. I’m just starting out so I don’t need a whole quart of culture anyway, so this didn’t affect me too badly.The thread fit on pint jars is not exact. However, I think this is an issue with the glass threads on the jars as much as it is with these lids. I had to try each lid on a few different jars to get a well-matched fit. I would suggest making these lids split style, as they are available for the 86mm wide mouth jars. I’m buying the larger split style right now.I wish the Luer fitting for the filter was Luer LOCK. These are Luer taper. These are destined to go in my regular fridge, and a gentle knock might send the filter flying and contamination into the jar.

These are really nice, but I wish the top of the gas release valve didn’t get knocked off as easily as it does. Still a good value.

The original shipment contained lids too small for 1/4 pint Mason jars. The seller contacted me to offer replacements that would fit my jars. I am happy because the lids I received seem well made just too small. On the premise that the replacement lids will fit I have edited this review, of course, if they don't I can always re-edit. So, based on the quality of the lids I initially received and the efforts of the supplier to provide the correct product I think a five star rating is appropriate.
