Great example of insights and methods for creative writing. Best English ad book I read since “Hey Whipple, Squeeze this”. Dive in and get inspired!👇“Note: this is also an excellent resource for people who dislike copywriters. Maybe you’re a client, a designer, or even worse, in a relationship with a copywriter.” 😂Ah, now I see why my girlfriend… (You finish the story). Great to see all the inspiring examples with original sources (Ricola, Porsche, …). Now I am out of pages… Help! 🆘Really liked the ‘say it straight’-pointer with the simply beautiful “shot on iPhone”-line. And… great to see you mentioned Thomas Kemeny too with Junior.Dan, you reached me in the smallest town of Belgium, called Wortel 🥕(Google translate that), with your great work. Imagine who else! 🌎

If you're a copywriter, stop what you're doing and read this. Especially if what you're doing is thinking of campaign concepts and headlines. Which is likely. Because you're a copywriter.So much of this rings true about how you can doubt yourself and ride the emotional roller-coaster of creativity. It has simple techniques to help plus a whole bunch of great examples of different types of headline structures.It's not too long, very engaging, and very honest. Just like a good headline.Thank you, Dan!

Mi sembrava di essere stata abbastanza chiara: leggi Dan, Cristoforo Colombo! (cit.)Chi è Dan? Un vecchio lupo di mare (ciao Dan!^^), un copywriter, un partner della tua coppia creativa immaginaria che siede difronte alla tua scrivania e ti smaschera, ti consiglia, fa battutacce. E’ piacevole “confrontarsi” con qualcuno in questo nostro ambiente di lavoro, spesso ostile e solitario. Dan è il Copy che avrei voluto conoscere, la penna che avrei voluto avere al mio fianco…e per tutti i Kraken, Dan traduci questo libro in italiano! Non sai quanto certe menti ne avrebbero bisogno.Ho inserito alcune sue dritte nelle mie lezioni sulla comunicazione. Hey, se sei un insegnate dovresti farlo anche tu.Ah! Dimenticavo: Dan risponde! This is the one.As a copywriting student, this book is exactly what I was after. It's full of the same brilliance you'll find in many other books, interwoven with personal stories and career insights from the authour. While that alone is enough to buy it, where this book wins for me is that it also does you the service of providing step by step guides (with examples!) of how to put those tips into practice and improve your writing on the spot!
