Adafruit boards are a favorite of mine. The board does what is expected, an up to date bluetooth radio coupled with a capable ARM processor. But Adafruit adds the extras as well. There is a connector that will support the use of a Li-ion battery. The board also has a battery manager so that the battery will be charged when external power is provided, and automatically switch to the battery when the power is removed. Also, the support on how to setup and program the device on their website is awesome! This is a premium board, and worth the price.
