I’m a big fan of Haynes manuals and this one is excellent in comprehensive training, technical data and pictorial/graphical information on any car AC.The reason for only four star is that it was first published in 2006 and no mention of update.The majority of the info is still valid today, but no mention of R-1234yf refrigerant nor fittings which are classed as the new type a becoming more common.Page 8.15 says that a 2018 Ford Fiesta is R134a which it is not.

Lots of great info in this book! I passed my Fgas course last year and was a bit rusty, I also never learned anything about adding oil to a system. This book contains info on expected amounts of oil in different parts of the system. So I was happy with that, also some great info on the systems pressures and explanations on high and low gauge situations! It is a bit dated but still very relevant, and explains the process well.

Is British version of book. Most information still applies but few North American vehicles in specs portion

Deceptive description or a misprint ? Received this manual advertised as a 2016 Hard cover, well it was a 2006 soft cover and didn't have 134a refrigerant as the only automotive refrigerant exclusively use now days, but included the old R12 which hasn't been used for 20 years and is not used by anyone, anymore. Bottom line,outdated sold as updated, and soft cover sold as hard cover, I didn't appreciate it !!! Be careful of what you wish for......
