I needed this to repair the subwoofer from my LG soundbar that had decided to pack-up after only a few years.Worried I would have to pay for an exspenive repair/replace the pcb or even buy a whole new soundbar but did some googling and found it was a common problem with LG, faulty firmware apparantly.Anyway, bought this kit and downloaded the software and bios file that I needed to repair my subwoofer and all is now good again, and it only cost me £9, very happy.

Great value programmer, simple to use software, but I would advise voiding the warranty and modding the device to restrict the data lines to 3.3 volts rather than the standard 5v. Link pin 28 and pin 9 to 3.3v output of reg. Please note the mod is NOT required for the programmer to work but will save you blowing a chip at some point the device is cheap and let's face it if you're buying a device like this you'll have the skill set. I was very impressed with this programmer so much so I purchased 2 and use both more than my far more expensive TL866II. So if you're after a low cost, simple to use chip programmer I can't see you going wrong with this CH341 device.

As a positive, it does work and for the money it is fine. If you are looking to only flash/recover a BIOS then you should be fine with this.For the negative, the chip clip for in-circuit programming is terrible. I ended up modifying the clip to be able to get a stable read. As this programmer is cheap it is also slow, so even reading the smallest of BIOS chips takes many minutes with programming being the same.It does not come with any software but a quick Google will find you legitimately free software to use with this programmer. Check of course that it does support the chip you are trying to work on.The programmer will also get extremely hot during use.

Der Programmer an sich würde Funktionieren, leider ist die Klammer schlecht!1x ein bisschen zu weit oben hält sie nicht mehr, da es das Plastik abgeschabt hat...Feder ist viel zu Harrt weichere würde auch gehen, da wäre die Chance vom Abrutschen kleiner, könnte ein Bios auslesen, mit Mühe und den Clip am anderen Board festmachen und anfangen zu Flashen, nach der Hälfte ist Windows zum 5.x gecrasht, auf Windows 7 scheibt es nicht Optimal zu laufen...

Dans les grandes lignes, le matériel a été livre et reçu dans les délais 👍.Au branchement de ce dernier sur l'USB, impossible d'installer les pilotes.Effectivement, sur le net, cela parle de problème de pilotes, etc, solutionables très facilement via le jumper.Bon bien sur, ce n'est pas mon cas... Ne me pretendendant pas expert, mais en utilisateur vraiment bien éclairé, rien a faire, après avoir testé sur tous les pc de la maison (6 quand même...)Je prend le bordel en main, sors la loupe binoculaire et osculte les soudures.PAF ! Une soudure sèche.Je sors le fer, panne fine de soudure, flux de soudage et on va !On restest, et ben ça fonctionne toujours pas 😅.Du coup, reloupe binoculaire, mais cette fois ci je refais absolument toutes les soudures 1 à 1 (c'est long...)Je rebranche, et instantanément le bordel s'installe et chope immédiatement les pilotes....Moralité, vous en avez toujours pour votre argent. Il doit y avoir un bon 5/10 % de défectueux a mon avis en raison du problème que j'ai résolu.

Habe mit dem Programmer einen Toshiba C660 retten können, Bioschip ausgelötet geflasht und wieder eingelötet, den zweiten Laptop erfolgreich mit dem Clip ( Zange ) geflasht.Mit der Zange bitte aufpassen kann man den Chip auch mit zerstören(Brick).Für mich hat sich der Kauf gelohnt.
