Feel different. I have worn these since the first edition. The 5th edition feels more snug in the toe box. And they’ve changed the heel loop, that in the 4 was perfect.

Great grip/traction, waterproofing, and appearance/style. Fits way narrower than I expected for an Altra. I have bought a lot of Altra shoes and this was my usual footshape/fit and size that I buy. However the toe box is very narrow, tight, and tapered, and extremely uncomfortable, compared to the other Altras I have of this footshape/and size. There has been a lot of talk online about this brand getting narrower, and I would say this is the case. This shoe may have worked for me if I went up in size.
