What am I going to do with this? I like to put up Christmas lights out front but hate having to jam the cables through the side of the garage door to get to the power sockets inside. Above the doors is a UPVC trim panel and I am going to mount the socket through that and rewire the lights to the plug.Then each year I can just string them up and plug the connector in. I can adjust the length of all cables to be spot on fit too.These sort of connectors are ideal for unique little projects like this if you know what you doing, I can imagine they would be great in like camper van builds where the secure and weatherproof (even inside damp can corrode open connectors) connections are superior.I only score it down because of the current price is 10.59 and even with the extra modest discount its still way overpriced, these sets can be had for less than half that on other sites.
