Thinner than a raincoat, thicker than the cheap raincoat poncho thingies from convenience stores.They run large for women, medium for men (if I was going to group it).These are pretty decent. They’re perfect for keeping in your car, or throwing into a backpack if you’re going out for a walk.

2025/02 — This raincoat is made of *PEVA: a new fabric which is odorless and environmentally friendly. The fabric performs well not just in heavy rain but in humidity, as well. It comes with a drawstring hood and extra long ((SLEEVES)). In these days of Global Warming the weather is, frankly, OUT OF CONTROL. When we aren’t burning down we’re hit by torrential rains of a magnitude not seen sometimes in a century of weather tracking. Houses collapsing in flash floods; mudslides of such volume and SPEED as to bury dozens (hundreds!) alive before they even see it coming.YOU NEED A RAINCOAT MY FRIEND and you need it even more than an umbrella imho, especially as an umbrella can instantly turn inside-out in a heavy wind. We live in an era of Tornado Warnings . . . in California!? Anyoo offers this handy 2-PACK of well-designed ponchos for a reasonable $14.99. That’s $7.50/each people. They come in opaque white and grey, and both the SLEEVES and the overall LENGTH are generously proportioned. Even if you’re extremely TALL this poncho will cover you. It closes by sturdy SNAPS that won’t blow open and the state-of-the-art PEVA it is made out of is both 100% waterproof and (thankfully) breathable. Don’t put it off. We’re in the most unpredictable weather in 1,000 years and your clothes deserve to be protected from the atmospheric rivers of rain that are increasingly showing up on our radar. They don’t just sprinkle; they dump GALLONS of water at a time. This is a great product, reasonably priced, and it folds up into an easily-manageable, lightweight addition to your backpack, briefcase or (yes) purse. 5 Stars

I bought the poncho raincoats before that are very very thin and you have to pull over your head to put it on. Those normally just have large openings to put your arms through so you still end up getting wet. This poncho is a good thickness. It is not real thick like a raincoat would be, but I would prefer it not to be that thick. Sometimes you just need something thin to put on to keep you dry and this fits the bill. It also has sleeves instead of just two holes for your arms, which then keeps your arms and your jewelry especially your watch dry. The best part is that it snaps closed. This makes it so much easier to put on and take off. It’s more like an actual coat instead of a poncho. They pull over ponchos usually fold up to a very small square in our convenient to throw in your purse. Since this raincoat is better made it will not fold up that small, but it would be perfect to keep in your car or throw in your tote bag if you’re out running errands. I will be taking this on my trip in a couple of months so that I don’t have to worry about carrying an umbrella around with me while out doing activities. This raincoat is a good length but where it falls on you well obviously depend on how tall you are. It’s awesome that it comes in a set of two so I have one and my husband will also have one.

Popped these in the car and quickly forgot about them. Drove into the new forest the other day for a dog walk and sure enough it started to rain when we got there! The wife was very impressed that I had had the foresight to chuck these in the boot. She was less impressed with the colour, but these are functional rather than stylish! They certainly did the job we needed them for, and kept us dry for a good 45 min walk!

Mein Einsatzzweck:Da ich auch unterwegs sicher vor Regen bin, habe ich nach einer praktischen Lösung gesucht, um im Notfall trocken zu bleiben, ohne viel Platz im Auto zu verwenden. Der Regenmantel aus dünnem PVC, den ich bestellt habe, kommt im praktischen Doppelpack und passt perfekt ins Handschuhfach.Vorteile- Der Regenmantel ist extrem leicht und kompakt. Perfekt, um ihn immer dabei zu haben, für den Fall, dass das Wetter umschlägt.- Die verstellbare Mütze mit Schnüren ermöglicht eine gute Anpassung an Kopf und Gesicht, sodass man auch bei Wind geschützt ist.- Dank der Druckknöpfe lässt sich der Mantel schnell und unkompliziert an- und ausziehen.Nachteile- Da zwischen den Druckknöpfen ein gewisser Abstand besteht, besteht die Möglichkeit, dass bei starkem Regen etwas Wasser durchtropft.- Er ist eher für gelegentliche Notfälle geeignet, als für regelmäßige Nutzung bei starkem Regen. Wer von vornherein weiß, dass es regnet, sollte besser einen hochwertigeren Regenmantel verwenden.FazitFür den gelegentlichen Einsatz und als Notfalllösung im Auto ist dieser Regenmantel eine hervorragende Wahl. Er erfüllt seinen Zweck, ohne viel Platz zu beanspruchen, und ist dazu noch mehrfach benutzbar. Die potenziellen Schwächen im Verschlussbereich verhindern, dass ich die volle Punktzahl vergebe, aber insgesamt bin ich zufrieden und gebe solide vier Sterne. Ich habe einige Fotos gemacht. Jetzt bin ich für zukünftige Überraschungen durch das Wetter gewappnet.

This raincoat only comes in one size, in a pack of 2 (so it's a deal). I am a petite 5' person and it fit me but I need to fold the sleeves and it looks like a "doctor" waddling around. It looks half hip, and the other half not hip. I can imagine wearing this to a hipster party b/c the transparency looks very cool! I was able to unfold it, try it on and fold it back. I did not test it with rain but it seems like it will hold up and be able to be reused multiple times! I will continue packing it in my travel suitcase so I can continue being a tourist even when it's pouring. This is much more high quality than the cheap disposal trash back ones that rip! I plan to keep this for the long run.
