These are really good and feel like the kind of swim briefs in style and fabric like you would wear in the 80’s and early nineties. Super comfortable and nicely panelled inside for modesty. The red is well-fitting, the Navy is a little on the smaller side.The fit well. Go with the sizing guide.

I bought a pair of Arena "Santamarias R" briefs for a summer holiday and found them great when in the pool or on the beach. I was interested to see how this "Dynamo" model compares. When I first tried them on my initial feeling was they were noticeably tighter and lower on the waist than the aforementioned model. I did measure them and hold both pairs over one another and found that - bizarrely - they are exactly the same size.I swam in these and absolutely nothing moved around! They offer incredible support, so ideal for swimming laps. I wore them under a pair of jammers because I wasn't confident enough yet to wear them as-is in a public pool, although hopefully will be eventually. That said I would certainly wear them on a beach holiday since the minimal coverage would be ideal for tanning.Size wise I would suggest getting your actual (measured with a tape measure) waist size. I certainly wouldn't recommend going down a size because these are designed to be snug and there's no need to size down.I bought the navy ones and the material/colour is lovely. They are very well lined at the front. There's certainly no danger of them becoming see through!Overall I'd recommend these. Just be aware they are more low rise than some other briefs, but excellent for their intended purpose.
