I bought this product for sharpening hand saws. It has a comfortable handle which makes it easy to grip and use. The saw file is easily reversed in the handle. I have always found Bahco products reliable

Over time I now have all three versions of the double ended saw files that Bacho make. Looking at the photo you can get some idea of their size difference. smallest 150mm, medium 175mm and largest 200mm. I've only broken one but put it down to bad technique and brutish force when starting to learn re-toothing and sharpening. I don't like the orange and black Bahco file holder as I prefer a round holder, save your money and buy the file only. Faithfull also make file holders cheaply but need the tang hole enlarging to hold these types of file.All versions of these files are very good value for money!

Good quality saw file but i withhold giving it five stars as I am stumped on how to use both ends. I tried everything and in the end spent 20 mins with a hacksaw destroying the handle to be able to release the file and use the other end!

I've sharpened two hand saws with this file and found the file cuts really well. Often with the cheaper files the edges that cut the gullet of the saw tooth wear out almost immediately. You can't go wrong with bahco files.

This is a good quality saw file with a comfortable moulded plastic and rubber handle, and none of the teeth are mal-formed. Note that Bahco also make smaller saw files, so be sure you choose the correct model. This one is at the larger end. Check out their site to verify the correct one for your particular application.
