Good zoom and field of view the rangea i wanted to use it in. The image is a little hazy but not unusable. There is a hair inside the lense that is visible and no easy way to get it out without forceably taking it apart. I dont want to break any seals that could limit its weather resistance .

Barska should have mentioned that this monocular comeswith the eyecup fully screwed in flush with the eyepiecefor glasses wearers.If focusing requires the eyepiece to move in the eyecupwill be up against the focusing ring...just unscrew it some.Field of view is 10.5 degrees which is wider than higher powered types.Eye relief is 20mm (0.80 inches) which is quite adequatefor glasses wearers and way better than mostmonoculars.Prisms are made from BK-7 glass,not the moreexpensive BAK-4 type;you can confirm this byholding the monocular up to the light and notingthe brighter square in the eyepiece.This is not noticeableat night or in daytime,really...it just means a lowerprice.As others have noted power is 6x but remember this isalways a tradeoff,more power means less eye relief andfield of view unless you go with a bigger (50mm)objective.So if you want the best you canget in a small package (and price),this is it.Sure wish Barska had furnished lens covers,though.Addendum January 17,2023:Before you order any optics from Amazon please note thatAmazon now likes to ship them in a plastic bag with no cushioningwhatever.The first reorder of this monocular was UPS classed"Undeliverable" and was not seen.The second retry came in a plastic bag and rattled because theprism assembly had been jarred loose.It was also sent back.Amazon Really needs to tell their warehouse personnel theseitems are Fragile,break easily,and can be knocked out ofalignment with no cushioning at all (or even a box) during shipment.

I purchased this item to check my target at the shooting range, and it performed as advertised. But, I wouldn't overstate it's value. Still, I'm pleased that I got what I paid for.

I bought this product as a "Semi-disposable' for travel. I've had several other similar units for similar dollar amounts in the past as I tend to loose/destroy them.This pair had better than expected optics. I was impressed with the image.I noted about a 1/8" of gear lag in the focusing ring... This was annoying... but quickly adaptable.I lost my first pair on my first trip. I was impressed enough to buy a second pair.Dollar for dollar... these are the best I have found.

This product is an amazing deal for the price. It works well in almost any light, gives a crystal clear view, and it really is waterproof.I have very poor distance vision, and to compensate for it I carry around a monocular with me. After the one that I had been using ended up filled with water when I accidentally dropped it into a puddle, I decided to look into a waterproof monocular. I ended up deciding on this one and am very glad that I did. It works better than many of the more expensive ones that I have tried, and is perfect for how I use it.If I ever need another monocular (which I probably won't, because this one is so well built) then I will definitely look for a BARSKA before I consider any other brand.
