The concept of cutlery for pets is a bit funny (my family were joking whether the dog would be getting a tablecloth and a candle next) but it actually makes sense, particularly if the pet gets wet food that needs to be scooped out of packaging and put into bowls. I used to use just normal forks or spoons for this, which is obviously fine as it all gets washed in the dishwasher, but having special utensils does make sense from a hygiene standpoint - and being this cute, they are a joy to use!The forks and spoons are sturdy and good quality. The animal prints are really sweet. Handwashing is recommended, presumably to keep the handles looking great. I am delighted with them. They would make a nice gift too (they arrive in a plastic wrapper so would need gift packaging).

I love these cute forks and spoons with paw handles, designed to use with pet food. You receive 2 spoons and 2 forks, they’re about 17cm long (the handle about 9cm), nice quality and strong enough for their purpose.My elderly cat has food from smaller tins and packets now and these are just the right size for easily scooping everything out from around the edges, something that was somehow trickier to do with normal sized cutlery.I have hand washed them to preserve the paw pattern on the handles, although one did accidentally end up in the dishwasher and came out ok, I wouldn’t want to keep on doing it just in case.I think they would make a fun and practical gift for pet owners and I can recommend them.
