I liked the idea behind this bracket but if you have the larger Canon L series lenses like the 85mm F1.2 or the 28-70mm F2, this mount won't fit as the gap between the lens and the body is smaller than the width of this bracket. Otherwise it looked nice, it just doesn't fit with larger lenses in the f1.2 to f2.0 L series range for Canon.

Only bracket that I found that's compatible with my Tamron 24-70 mm f/2.8 G2. Issue with the two tiny cylindrical magnets that hold the allen wrench...they come out of their holes when the wrench is removed. Solved with a drop of super glue. Otherwise happy camper.

Product arrived as promised and as described. Trial and error required to set it up to fit my camera, lens and camera release plate. With all the options available, I was able to create a setup for my variables. It was even possible to adjust the rotation lock to keep it from hitting the release plate. Well-designed product.

Overall a good piece of gear. The sliding mechanism is a bit stiff but still very usable. Close fit around my Sigma 150mm macro lens, but it's quite a bulky lens.
