These BERGRISAR Men's Cycling Shorts are priced very well for what you get. The design is good and sewing excellent. The red accent adds a nice definition to the usual black shorts. The material has just the right amount of stretch.The padding is thick right under your rear, and thins out a lot towards the front (almost to the point of no padding). If you lean heavily forward while riding, you will notice the lack of padding there. I also felt that the padding tapered off a bit too quickly, as the seat came close to my bones. Not sure if I will feel fatigue there or not on really long rides.The shorts have decent anti slip silicone around the leg openings to help keep the short's legs in position. There are also 2 side pockets to put a phone in. They are deep enough to completely put a phone in to hold it.I usually take a size large, but find I need to size up for shorts from China. So I got an XL which fits quite well. I may have been able to do a large, but I am happy with the XL. If I went by the size chart, my waist would indicate I should order much bigger. I'm glad I did not.

This is a very well padded pair of cycling shorts but also did not feel too sweaty after a road session. The shorts have a thin unobtrusive waistband and grippy seams on the legs to prevent riding up. The padding is thick around the bottom and groin regions. The padding did feel a little cumbersome to begin with like wearing a groin box but my parts were glad for it after a few miles. The material is nice and stretchy too so comfortable to wear for prolonged periods and even has a couple of pockets on the legs although I would have preferred them to have a closure of some sort.

I've tested these out a few times now, and I can say confidently that these are middle of the road for bargain priced bike shorts. They will get the job done but they are far from perfect.First I would say that if you are in between sizes, do not size up. I made that mistake with these. I have a 36 inch waist/215 pounds and based on the chart I chose to size up. These are a too large for me. I should have chosen the XL. The chamois padding is sufficient for daily rides of around 20 miles. I felt like the padding had reduced a good bit by the time I hit15 miles on the last two rides I used these. If you are a beginner with a padded saddle that should not be an issue.My sole complaint is that the seam on the front of the shorts protrudes much too much. I could definitely feel the seam rubbing while I rode. I've never had a pair of shorts where this was an issue but I found it a little uncomfortable.All in all these are a decent set pair or starter bike shorts for beginning cyclists. If you can get them on sale, even better.

Wasn't sure which size to get, but an XL seems like a perfect fit for me (5'9" / 220lb / 38waist). I thought the pad was sitting a bit low, but once on the bike seat it felt fine. I plan on wearing these under other shorts since I'm not a spandex kind of guy.
