Used this attached to the belt of my Exo Mtn pack. Mounted on the left side of my back belt and could rest the bow in the handle area for looking at OnX, calling, glassing or just taking a break. It's not meant to use while walking(at least I couldn't situate my bow where it was secure for walking) It's pretty nice to just hang your bow off your hip to do things that require two hands..............or to just give your bow carrying arm a break.

Works well. Very sturdy. Nice and deep. And covered well to prevent scuffing up my bow. Holds my Gillo GT barebow perfectly on my hip. I add almost 2# of weight to my bow, so this provides great relief for that target on the range that doesn't have a bow rack. If you have never tried one, I recommend you do.

I used one of these from another company for over 20 years and finally wore the fabric out. I bought this one to replace it and love it. The metal hook is longer and holds the bow better.
