Easy to put on and saved me from buying new boots. Haven't skied them yet (it's June) feel great on ,looking forward to ski them. Not using them yet I'll give them a 4 star for ease of install.

My metal buckle broke: but,Updating my review... Reached out to Booster Straps directly and the sent me a new pair within 24 hours. That's great customer service. This product is superior to any straps that come stock with your boots. The elastic effect allow you to get the top of your boot really tight so you don't have any 'play' (like a steering wheel) in your ski's responsiveness. If you're a serious skier, you use these. Get to BOOSTING!

Only able to use them a couple of times before the end of the 2017/18 ski season, so jury's still out on actual ski-performance-enhancing property claims. I did sort-of get the sense that they assist in keeping the top of my ski boots clamped-down better than the stock, power strap. Boots feel/ski a little wierd, i.e. not uncomfortable, it's just a bit of an unusual sensation to have the top of the ski-boots so tight against my shins/calves. Again, it remains to be seen/felt, if overall, I feel like it really helped/improved my ski-technique, or not(?). On paper, it sounds like it should help, but not entirely convinced, yet(?).

These are AWESOME!! I've been skiing my whole life and hadn't ever had issues with shin bang until last winter (not sure why, maybe just because I was skiing a lot more often and a lot harder) and it was really making my days out there a lot less enjoyable.I heard about Booster Straps and thought I'd try them out and can't be more impressed.They were kind of a pain to install (might have just been my boots were weird or I didn't have the right tools) but managed to get them on with just a screwdriver and knife.Now I have no more shin bang and can get my boots really nice and tight.

Fantastic! Just a small "warning" to people.. the existing velcro strap on your boots (mine are Tecnica) is NOT usually attached w/screws - they are rivets. You will have to drill them out and put the new strap on using pop rivets. If you do not have the equipment and/or expertise and/or the "guts" to drill you boots - find a friend who can do it for you.. I had the stuff ;-)
