When utility power goes out I run four refrigerators for 2.5 hours out of every 24 hours to keep everything frozen for 7 days. I have the optional 120 watt portable solar panel to recharge the battery daily. On 4 day camping trips the built in 30 watt solar panel is enough to keep the battery full while recharging phones, tablets, lap tops, radio and flashlights. Super convenient size and weight. The LFE (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries should last 25+ years. After using it five of my friends have also bought one. EXCELLENT VALUE

One of the few available true solar generators on the market. It's so easy to use, just set it in the sun and open the solar panel, it immediately starts charging, no buttons to push or setting to manipulate. In fact, everything about the Browey C600 is simple and easy. There are only 3 buttons on the device, one turns on the AC inverter, one turns on the DC power and the third lights up the display to check the charge level when neither AC nor DC are powered on. I like that there are covers for all of the ports, and the unique "briefcase" or "handbag" form factor. I worried about setting the Browey in the sun for several hours but found that although the solar panel gets very hot the inside of the power station does not seem to overheat. My guess is that there is some sort of insulation behind the solar panel that keeps the sun's heat from getting to the battery and other internal parts. I don't know this for a fact, just a suspicion. The typical safety and protection systems are in place and those system don't seem to be too aggressive but are fast to act when needed. When using the different ports everything works as expected, with the one exception being the USB-C power delivery port. This port seems to be limited to very specific charging profiles, which are listed in the user's guide, if your device doesn't not fully support one of these charging profiles it may not charge at its maximum charging speed. The USB-C PD port is rated at 65 watts, and it delivered that wattage when charging one of my other power stations, however when charging my phone the USB-C PD port only delivered a maximum of 18 watts, even though my phone can charge at a up to 33 watts. In my opinion, the only negatives are the weight the charging speed and maybe the USB-C PD port limitations. I don't think I've hit the max charging wattage, but that number seems to be around 130 watts if both the built in and external solar panels are used at the same time. The built in solar panel is rated at 30 watts and up to 135 watts of external solar can be added as well, so there is a theoretical 165-watt max charging rate, but there seems to be a hard top limit on charging input power. One really nice positive is that there doesn't seem to be any power on time limits, both the AC and DC power will stay on until the battery is discharged and the over-discharge protection kicks in, this is a great feature for powering low energy usage devices or for powering devices that use power intermittently. Finally, in the world of power stations, The Browey PN-C600 sits at about $.78 per watt, which is a little on the high side for power stations. In my opinion, the Browey PN-C600 is a unique and special power station that easily justifies its current selling price.

I will attempt to come back to update the review if the system allows me to.I've had this for 24 hours now.It came 80% charge. My first goal was to charge it to 100% using the built in solar panel. It say out in direct sunlight (no clouds) for 8 hours, temperature low was 65 degrees (F) and a high of 78 degrees (F).After 8 hours ZERO change in charge status, still at 80%.I will try for another 8 hours tomorrow and if nothing, then I'll try charging it the old fashion way. By plugging it in to an electrical outlet.I may try a larger external solar panel, but it defeats the purpose of buying a system that has its own panel if it doesn't produce results.*************Update.Took another 6-8 hours of sun (no clouds) to charge to 100%.So two days to charge 20% 0f the battery.Half way through the day I checked it, full sun it was only producing (an average) of 14 watts out of a rated 30 watt panel system.Researching the reviews I seen where someone wrote that in their user manual it actually suggested using an external solar panel of 100+ watts. My user guide gave no such recommendation.****Update #2.I contacted the Company about the productivity level of the 30 watt solar panel. They made every excuse, and made every accusation at me of not knowing what I'm doing and ended their email with a statement that in their CONTROLLED laboratory testing the built in panel on their test product produced 24 watts...so obviously I was the problem. But in the positive side, they did get back with me, through email, within 24 hours. That's it, that's my review, make of it as you wish.I'm keeping the product and I'm buying a 100 watt panel to go with it, so depends on what you want it for, it may be perfect for that task.******UPDATE THREEA year later trying to contact the company with an issue, just want to ask some questions. No reply (not surprised), email address they provided and website they provided no longer in use or valid. No working phone number found.***"Update fourOver two months later still no contact with the company.I've been using it to charge my cell phone.Got it down to 40% then used the solar panel over a two day time frame to charge it back up to 100%.Charged my phone maybe half dozen times still showed 80%.The out of nowhere it dropped to 0%, completely brained.Have had it plugged in to recharge 6 hours later up to 40%. I don't know if it'll still hold a charge or not.
