Was searching for days for a day back pack i need for a day hike, in which i would need at least 3-4 bottles of water. Well the water bladder bag holds this amount of water. The bladder is good strong quality so it definitely doesn’t leak!!.I he back pack has a separate compartment just for the bag and a loop you can hang the bag in. In this same compartment has a pocket so you can out an ice-pack next to it so your water stays cold.The material of your his bag is soft…not hard cheap like others. What i LOVE about this bag is that in the front straps there are zippers on each side so you can keep your phone there…ready to take pics.This bag can be loosened or tightened to fit you snug…while hiking ir running it won’t move.So besides the Big bladder pocket, it also has another pocket next to it almost the same size where you can stash food. and a stretch pocket to out a small face towel or light long sleeve. the smaller pocket in back you can put band aids, with insect repellent or anything else you need there. So has 4-pockets in total.I was looking at ALL the back packs online…and this is the best one. Hope this helps. Happy hiking!!
