I am using the HR 10410601 Blind Spot Rear View Mirror on a motorcycle but all my comments apply equally to car use.General:This mirror is the one with the shorter (but still bendable) swan-neck: there is a similar one advertised with a longer neck.The mirror itself is 111mm x 42mm (4+1/3 inch x 1 + 5/8 inch) and it is convex in both the long and short dimensions. Mirror-front to suction-back is approximately 105mm or 4 + 1/8 inch when straight.The swan-neck bends and the suction cup can be set at whatever rotation you wish but be aware that the mirror is fixed for both rotation and angle at the swan-neck junction: there is no ‘ball-joint’. The result is a very stable mirror when set.As others have commented, there is clamp-lever on the suction cup similar to those on SatNav mounts: once ‘levered’ onto a flat surface, I found it near-impossible to remove without releasing the lever again. An adhesive-backed disc is also supplied so that none smooth surfaces can still be used.The mirror is glass and of good quality. It has an approximate angle of view of 90 degrees that I found to be exactly the right amount.Motorcycle Specific:If you know the RiderScan motorcycle blind spot mirror then the mirror reviewed here has approximately half the viewing angle of the RiderScan. The RiderScan is an excellent mirror but I found that its angle was simply too wide: it gave too much info’ with too little detail.The entire HR mirror package seems suitable for motorcycle use but I un-suction-clamp it when parked up, just as I do when using my standard SatNav on the bike.I have mounted the HR mirror in the centre of my screen (using the adhesive-backed disc) and use a slight offset angle on the swan-neck and this covers my offside blind spot perfectly.I have not had sufficient use to comment on the longevity of the components.

It has a wide viewing angle, but not what i was looking for. I wanted a flat screen, but i can't fault them for ordering the wrong thing. It did take a long time to arrive though.
