Installation was fast and easy. I’m using it to mount a Varia RTL515 radar.You’ll need an M6 locknut (not included) to secure the piece to the rack. If you want to hang the radar vertical, it might be too low and clash with a fender. As you can see from the photos, I mounted it horizontal and it works perfectly.

It is great for what it is. It took some time to get used to it being closer and having to look down more. I still prefer it in front to of the bars. It might be nice for some of the newer mountain bikes with longer reach. Mine are from just before that caught on.

Nothing to dislike. It is exactly as described & worked perfectly except that the bolt to attach it to the star washer was too short to reach, but a quick trip to my local hardware store solved that issue.
