Not very good. You dont get a proper color, like id you want purple, you will see blue and red.I can see the red light on blue hues.

Premesso che ho avuto un problema con la spedizione, ricevuti con notevole ritardo, testati e comodi, ne vorrei acquistare altri ma ho paura di incappare nuovamente in problemi delle poste, provenendo dalla Cina... per il loro funzionamento nulla da reclamare, fanno quello che devono. Sono led in fondo

I'm not sure which product people are commenting on. here A lot of comments are for UV LEDs and kits of 10 color LEDs. I bought the RGB LED with the common pin at VCC. the reason for that is to be able to drive the LEDs from an embedded controller such as the Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black. Those devices do not have the ability to drive more than about 5 ma. from their GPIO pins. If you try to drive the LEDs directly from them, you will eventually burn out that IO pin.I know that the red LED is typically a 2.2 volt device @ 20 ma. The green and blue LEDs are usually 3.1 volt @ 20 ma. So, when driving the RGB LED from a transistor or MOSFET. The circuit is readily available on the Web. It is significantly easier to drive the LEDs from the ground side than to try to supply their voltage from the VCC side. To do that requires a logic level translator capable of driving at least 30 ma. to the LED. It's okay if you just want to turn the LEDs on and off with a relay or switch, but to dynamically chnage the color by means of PCM, just make your job a lot easier and use a device with a common VCC and not the common ground. It all depends on what you want to do.

Please note that this LED is a constant anode type, which means that you connect the longest pin to the positive of your system like VCC, then connect the pins to the PWM or analogue pin out. Also, note that they work opposite to the normal LEDs; this system uses HIGH as OFF and LOW as ON; it took me a while to figure this out.That being said to save you time and frustration. This product exceeded my expectations. The colours are very bright; so bright I'm going to use them for mood lighting.On a negative note, which I will not take off a star for but needs to be noted, the colours don't seem to mix well at all angles; for example, blue and green sometimes just looks like blue alone or green alone depending on the angle, but at that right angle you can see the teal colour (just to note).
