I bought these for single-aspect model railroad traffic lights. These LEDs are diffused and do not suffer from the offset phenomenon I have seen on other LEDs where the light shifts from one side to another when the color is switched. These light fairly bright and centered on both colors.Red will appear dimmer than green but that is the human eye sensitivity at work. Just use less current on the green until the intensity looks balanced, especially when trying to generate yellow by illuminating both colors together.

These diodes are really nice an bright, however the defused result is not quite as good as with some diodes I have purchased previously. This only becomes a problem when you want to turn on both at the same time to produce a orange light. These devises are good and this minor issue should not put you off purchasing the product.
