Ich habe schon mehrere Hotends für meine Vorons ausprobiert und kann sagen, dass dieses CHC Hotend hier sich sowohl preislich als auch Performance mäßig gut macht. Verbaut habe ich es derzeit in meinem 0.2er.Geliefert wird es in einen blauen Karton (woher diese Inspiration wohl kommt?), mit sämtlichen Zubehör, um es in Betrieb zu nehmen. Keramik Heater, gehärtete Nozzle und 3950 Thermistor sind im Lieferumumfang enthalten, sowie Verlängerungskabel und ein bisschen "Werkzeug". Haptisch fühlt es sich alles wertig an und ich habe keine Bedenken, dass es nach kurzer Zeit kaputt geht, wie viele andere günstigere Konkurenzprodukte.Um das Hotend im Voron zu verbauen, muss man es einmal auseinander nehmen, um von unten den E3D Groovemountadapter zu lösen. Dies geht relativ simpel und ist schnell erledigt. Die Kabel für Heater und Thermistor sind leider etwas kurz geraten, hier kann man entweder die Verlängerungen verwenden, oder die gewünschte Länge Kabel anlöten. Ich habe mich aus ästhetischen Gründen für letzteres entschieden.Nach einem kurzen PID Tuning ging es dann auch an die ersten Drucke. Vorweg: Das Hotend heizt wirklich super schnell auf und da es einen ringförmigen Heater hat, der die Nozzle umschließt, ist es wirklich super temperaturstabil.Die mitgelieferte 0.4mm Nozzle ist auch okay, hier gibt's nichts zu meckern.Ein Durchflusswunder kann man hier jetzt nicht erwarten, ich kam mit der mitgeleiferten Nozzle mit PLA @245 Grad auf eine maximale Durchflussrate von etwa 18 mm³. Mit einer CHT Nozzle wäre hier wahrscheinlich noch etwas Luft nach oben.Alles in Allem ein gutes Hotend, Welches zu einem erschwinglichen Preis einen soliden Eindruck macht.

This V6 extruder clone was an easy swap and functions as expected for the most part. The one thing I would warn is that you should make sure all of the bolts are solid and don't just trust that it will not leak from the factory as I found that mine had some loose bolts that resulted in a mess of filament on the hotend. I love the color and the ceramic hotend heats up super quick and efficiently!

There's nothing specifically wrong with the hotend, but the price isn't reflective of what you get. Ultimately, it's just a ceramic heater over a pretty bog standard V6 hotend. You can do better for cheaper.Also an odd choice to make the accent color blue when the default Voron color scheme is red. But that's just a personal opinion, and doesn't affect my rating.

This hotend is in my voron toolhead that is on my Kobra Max printer. It has provided reliable extrusion and it seems to be very well made. Since this is on a large format printer I'm not sure about it's ability to print at speed, but for color changing with my ERRCF I think it will do just fine. The kit was complete and the individual parts seem to be well made.

Update: dropping review to 3 stars. The heat break is far too brittle and snapped off after 1.5 months of usage (10 prints). It didn’t impact anything, it just broke off mid print.My old hotbed was leaking plastic everywhere, so I grabbed this 50w hot end to replace it.For installation, please not that this hot end is shorter than the factory one so you need to raise the bed leveling screws to make sure the nozzle reaches the bed. I also had to replace the end connectors with compatible pins to connect to the Chiron board.Also make sure to check voltage to match your control board, I accidentally got a 12v one first and it caused brown outs on my board.Performance-wise it heats very quickly as advertised, and maintains heat well during faster printing. So far it has provided nice evenly heated prints. Very happy thus far. No clogs as of yet.

Got this on a Neptune 2s project it has great flow and very fast heat up time. Print quality is fantastic was easy to install with a v6 hotend mount and some adjustment. No heat creap or any thing I've yet to have a clog or any issues with this hotend I have multiple ones as I really like this design
