This was one of the earlier otome titles I played and I’ll say the plot is very good and the characters are all very strong characters. None of them were really tropey and all had decent character development. The MC is a bit of a ditz at first but she gets more and more complex. Not tons of romance but don’t believe people who say there is none or barely. There are a lot of romance scenes, esp with Okazaki lol. The LLs are also multifaceted. Beautiful art and gorgeous CGs too. Just delicious.

As a fan of mystery and romance, this is perfect! A game that I am addicted to and can’t put down. Beautiful art and great voice acting, I enjoyed every moment. Really recommend!

it's not heavy on romance like some otome games but the MC isn't some weak damsel like most otome games. It's a darker theme so be aware of that. I loved all the characters and the story. Unlike many otome games that have a lengthy prologue before character routes, this one it's shorter and you can skip a lot of it to get to the character routes. I really enjoyed each character except Minou, if you played Code realize he's alot like Impey (voiced by the same guy to) I found him a bit annoying lol. But overall a great otome game just be prepared for the darker theme and less romance.

Have been collecting Otome games for the Switch and Collar x Malice is still a must-have. It arrived earlier than planned and was worth the time spent.
