Fully adjustable and fine-tunable for drop, leg size, handgun size, retention, comfort, and to accommodate pistol design, lights, and accessories. Like other Condor map pouches, the flap is adjustable to secure different length mags. The velcro is strong throughout. You can adjust the holster's "grip" on the handgun to get excellent friction retention. The metal thumb snap and back-up velcro "snap" over the metal snap are solid. You could get thrown off a horse, roll down a mountain, and I'll bet that your handgun will stay holstered. Yet even with both snaps connected you can draw free of this holster in less than a second.Leg straps have rubbers strips fused to the inside for grip on your leg. The leg straps also have a bit of elastic where their quick release buckles connect to the holster. This holster is VERY comfortable. It is also very quiet. Unlike molded plastic or Kydex, it has a low sound signature if it rubs against a wall. The velcro snap can be folded away when silence and speed become more important than extreme retention.Make sure that your pistol rides high enough inside the holster that the mag release button clears (is above) the rim of the holster. I adjusted my pistol that way for solid initial handgrip while keeping plenty of trigger coverage. It avoids contact between holster and mag release button which can release the mag. In my first set-up, the holster rim released the mag button when the holster took impact from the side (pushing the holster in towards my leg). A few minutes later, I had it perfectly adjusted. 5 solid stars and a bargain.

Tiefe des Holsters ist mittels Gurtes verstellbar und lässt sich gut am Gürtel befestigen. Genau wie die beiden Beingurte ist auch der Gurt, für die Befestigung am Gürtel, mit einem Steckverschluss versehen, so dass man den Klettverschluss am Gürtel nicht öffnen muss um das Holster abnehmen zu können. Magazintasche ist auch vorhanden. Alles in allem genau das, was ich gesucht habe.Versand ging auch problemlos und schnell.

While this holster may get the job done for some, it doesn't tailor well for my purposes. Before I reading any further, I want to note that I used this mainly for Airsoft purposes. These points, however, can translate into real steel firearm handling as well so please keep that in mind.Pros:The quality is what you expect from Condor; it holds well under pressure and the stitching, while it holds some frays, doesn't fall apart when put under stress. The straps are lined with a rubber like material to keep the holster from moving around on your leg, which is great.Cons:The biggest problem for me was that no matter how I set up my CZ P09, the holster would always manage to depress the magazine release whenever I would move around. This is most likely due to some of the Cordura material becoming ridged during the construction recession of the holster. While the quality of the holster holds up, this issue made me drop this holster immediatly after this problem got me killed in an airsoft match.If you bring up your sidearm (which is usually your backup to your primary weapon) and hear a "click" instead of a "bang," you turn a bad situation into a worse one.Verdict:I would recommend this holster if you want to use it in conjunction with a sidearm that has a paddle-style release, but for those who use weaker or flushed button style magazine releases, I'd give this one a pass and save up for a kydex holster. While one can carry a sidearm without the magazine inside, it creates the opportunity for dust and debris to sift its way into the magwell and possibly the action, which is a complete turn off for my tastes.

The design is ok for a fabric holster, if you need something for just playing around with this is ok. I would not use this in operations and would opt for something with better retention, but also easier to draw from. I had to fumble with this as the retention system is not very well thought out. It does however resize fairly easily to fit various sized firearms.

Holster delivers what it promises, namely that it will fit nearly all full size semi-automatic pistols, with or without most attachments. However, in return it will require that you also play your part and adjust the holster to your specific pistol. To accomplish a good and secure fit, you will have to practically take the entire holster apart (held together with an ingenious system of overlapping Velcro belts and flaps) and understand how it comes together. Once you see what each flap and belt does, it's a cinch to adjust exactly to your pistol's contour. Straight out of the box, it will likely not fit so be prepared to spend some time with it.I dinged it one star because of the vertical belt that is supposed to keep the pistol from accidentally falling out of the holster. It offers two ways of achieving this, but I found neither to my liking. One is a snapping cap, the other is a Velcro back-up strap. Both seem noisy and awkward, to me. You may like them.

Overall:This is a universal drop leg holster for large frame auto pistols. After having a difficult time finding a suitable leg holster to SECURELY accommodate my heavy .40 S&W Hi-Point pistol, this one will serve well. It is much more rigid than the other brand I previously purchased and could be easily adapted to fit many other large framed auto pistols like a 1911 or similar style. It is a sturdy thick design, made from quality materials, and will accommodate a large heavy pistol very nicely without allowing it to flop around like other brands I have compared. Although the strap adjustments are made using velcro and plastic buckles, they are of high quality materials and not like the flimsy cheap buckles or thin velcro used on some other holsters I have seen. The straps are also made of good thick wide nylon.Adjustments:There is an impressive amount of adjustment for fitting the holster to your body. I am 6' 1" and about 220 pounds. If you are 6' 5" and have linebacker thighs, the leg straps might be too short for you, but I am an above average sized guy and they worked great for me. The leg straps have rubberized strips on them that keep them from sliding on your leg and appear to work very well. There are also a couple of inches of up/down adjustment where it attaches to your belt at the waistline. As for gun adjustments, The retention strap to hold the gun inside the holster is somewhat difficult to initially adjust due to the high quality velcro on both sides of the strap and being in a tightly sewn pocket. Despite this, the good news is that once adjusted properly for your gun- it will hold securely and not come loose. (I used wooden tongue depressors on each side of the strap to keep the velcro separated until the strap length was adjusted properly in the opening.) There is also a magazine pocket to carry a spare clip on the front side with a good adjustable retention strap. The holster pocket is fully adjustable for gun width and the amount of taper toward the bottom end. There are two sturdy overlapping flaps that both attach together and to the holster body itself with a very generous amount of high-quality velcro- so they are not going to come loose when you are walking around with your gun.Recommendations:I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for an inexpensive holster for a large auto-loader pistol- or if you have multiple guns and want a universal tactical leg holster that will work for all of them. It is a much better product than the other UAG holster I bought and was only a few more bucks. It may not fit your pistol like a glove, but has enough adjustment to work well and you would be hard pressed to find a better value for the same amount of money. For what this product is, it is more than a great value by comparison....5 stars!
