My 4 year old loves his extra shapes and already building more interesting buildings.I really love the feel of the tiles in your hands. They have a nice grip.

My 2 year old and I have had a blast with the Connectix set. With multiple sets now, we can create even bigger and more impressive structures!On its own, the original set feels somewhat limited due to the small number of tiles, which can restrict your building options.The geometric tiles are well-crafted with sturdy magnets and a durable plastic exterior. However, achieving perfectly flush shapes can be tricky because the magnets can cause slight misalignments at the edges.Despite this, it’s really enjoyable to build tall towers and interesting shapes. Plus, it's a great way for kids to learn about constructing stable structures and preventing collapses. This version allows you to add 8 new shapes to your list of structures.Overall, the series can feel a little pricey (if you include all the expansions), but the quality is definitely there and I would recommend it as a great child/parent activity.

This is a great set of magnetic shapes. The overall quality of the shapes is excelent, they feel very solid and well made. The colors are vibrant and there are no gaps or weak points in the two laminations.The shapes themselves are much larger than I expected them to be, they are around double the size of similar sets. This is great for toddlers, my 5 and 2 year old spend alot of time playing with them and the size makes it a little bit easier for the younger one to assemble.The one thing that's a little bit cumbersome is that the magnets arent really strong enough to hold the panels togeathere when building 3 dimensional shapes. This issue is amplified with the large size of the panels as they weigh a bit more which makes it difficult for the magnets to hold them upright. Its not impossible, we built a large 3d diamond you just have to support everything carefully, its a good fine motor skill task for the 5 year old. Once a 3d object is closed and fully supported it holds together fine.All together this is a great magnetic shape panel set, its large size makes the set appropriate for a largerr range of ages. My kids love it and so do I.

This set of brightly coloured, durable magnetic shapes makes me want to be a kid again. I don’t even make my son clean up after play so I can play with them while he goes to bed. It’s amazing how this much fun can fit into such a compact package. One thing to note is that this set, while playable, is an expansion pack to the main system. To truly assess it – you should have access to more pieces.The quality of the blocks is excellent and reflected in the price. The box on the other hand is made of corrugated cardboard and recyclable, but not really suitable for storage between the play times. You may need to make other storage provisions.
