Since they added their own serial to parallel circuit, it now requires a GPIO change before each command and before sending data. When used with an FDTI FT232H doing SPI over USB this cause a 2ms "speed bump" for each operation, for example, setting one pixels. Two milliseconds to set one pixel makes this display incompatible with SPI over USB. They only need to have some jumpers to let me set it back to it's native SPI interface, but they did not! So in the trash this display will go!

L'affichage est de bonne qualité contrairement à un autre écran concurrent testé précédemment.Le fabriquant met à disposition sur son site des codes exemples, notices et 3D!Le top pour du développement.Je l'ai testé sur un Arduino Leonardo.

Gut verpackt geliefert.Demos funktionieren mit ATmega2560 (Arduino Mega) problemlos.Mit ESP32 und diversen STM32 Nucleo Boards hab ich NICHT zum laufen gebracht.Auch die Waveshare Original Beispiele funktionieren mit den SMT32 nicht, Schade.

Habe es gekauft wegen Nucleo bzw. STM32 boards. Aber diese haben 3.3 Volt. Das Display scheint aber 5v zu brauchen. Daher Geld zum Fenster rausgeworfen!

With datasheet and example code in hand you can get to grips with this display. For Arduino Uno you need to pare down the code a bit in order to get anything else operating in software. But overall, good. Only drops a star as I have had some trouble with the SD2Card initialising properly, seems very prone to noise.
