I use these for a home mixed finish that is popular with a lot of woodturners. It is a mix of alcohol, linseed oil, and shellac in equal portions. The markings on the bottles make measuring simple, the bottles are tough enough that I've not yet had one fail and don't expect a failure. They are very handy in my application when I dispense the finish. They could be used for a lot of things, so the essential question I suppose is are they durable. For me they have been.

Bought this to hold lubricant for my classic car. On trips it goes in the trunk standing upright and no leaks from the bumps

i put a Diesel additive/lubricant's inside and the bottles disintegrated, so the few extras i had are now being used for shampoo and conditioner and seem to be holding out for that job

I use these bottles for mixing and storing fabric dye. I put the dye powder in and add very hot water - the plastic holds up very well with no problem due to the heat. The plastic is sturdy and easy to squeeze. The nozzle screws onto the bottle very securely with no leakage around the threads, a real necessity with intense dyes. Same with the cap, it screws on over the nozzle and is very secure. I love these bottles and have ordered more.As for the complaint that the print rubs off, I intentionally scratched the ink with my nail to test and nothing came off.I find the bottles high quality plastic, secure closing for no leakage, easy to use, convenient markings and an excellent price.
