I bought this battery on the back of reading reviews and watching Youtube clips of replacing the battery in my Garmin Edge 1000. I already have the tools, but if you don't it's worth investing in a small set, particularly if you have other Garmin products that can have their batteries replaced. I also have a Sat Nav in which I replaced the battery, as well. I shall come back to this review in a few months time, to give a real time assessment of the value of doing this, but for now, I can use it for at least 8 hrs before charging is required. More than enough for my needs.
