My main issue is the fact that within 15 minutes of use (very gentle use I may add) the third latch broke. I’m not in a place I can walk or go to a location to do a return so I’ve settled with just forcing the latch back in the correct position with a small pair of jewelry pliers every 2 stitches or so when it breaks backwards behind the hook. I will say that having difficulty otherwise with pulling yarn is probably just me not having enough practice with it yet so I’d advise trying different weights of yarn to see which is easiest to work with. I do like how big the handle is because it makes it easy to hold and I hope I can get good at it because the cord I’ve made so far is BEAUTIFUL so it definitely functions it’s just a matter of how easy it is for you based on your experience with the tool (and if your latch/es break like one of mine) overall I wouldn’t agree it’s worth $16 and change because of the breaking and the latches themselves bend easy so I’m worried they’re fragile, but it’s cheaper than the ones I’ve seen on Etsy. Good luck to those trying it, it’s cool to see the cord once it’s started!I recommend looking at a couple different YouTube videos on how to start the cord because there’s different ways and everyone’s got their preference but the tool does actually come with a handy piece of paper with step by step visual instructions on how to begin the cord which was nice :)

I often need to make an I-cord for various projects and this little tool just made it quite a bit faster. Love it!

The finish on the moulded plastic left sharp edges.The handle is large and clumsy to hold. The white square block seems to have no practical purpose other than getting in the way.Have used it a couple of times, but made a better one using fimo and spare hooks from a knitting machine
