Med en subwoofer som komplement har jag nu väldigt bra ljud i vardagsrummet. Drivs av en Sonos Amp.

I recently acquired a pair of Dali Oberon On-Wall speakers for my home office, so that I could have relatively high-quality music reproduction playing in the background while I work. I chose the Dali Oberons for several reasons:* They are narrow enough to fit in the space I had available on the wall on either side of a storage closet in my office, opposite my seating position;* They are aesthetically attractive and come in several finishes, one of which nicely matches my existing office furniture;* The drivers are high-quality and the speakers have an innovative downward-firing port to extend bass response; and* Dali generally has a good reputation for build quality and sound reproduction.Because I bought these from Amazon, and had never heard them, I was taking sort of a “flyer” on the sound quality — I relied mostly on reviews from other purchasers and Dali’s general reputation. More on the sound a little later.When I ordered the speakers, Amazon gave me the free option of using disguised outer boxing, because the box the speakers ship in from Dali identifies the contents. Having had past experience with electronic purchases “disappearing” en route (shipped via both Amazon and UPS), I took Amazon up on the option (in fairness to Amazon, on those occasions refunds or re-shipping occurred swiftly and without hassle — but the experience is still annoying). The speakers arrived double-boxed in good order, without incident.The interior box, from Dali, was sturdy and the speakers were carefully packaged to avoid damage. They arrived intact, and absolutely gorgeous. The finish is excellent, and the speakers weigh a little over ten pounds apiece — heavy enough to be well-damped and to suggest substantial internal components and structural integrity, but light enough for easy wall mounting. The drivers themselves appear to be very well-designed and well built, and the speaker grills are removable and very attractive in their own right. On the back, there are two sturdy mounting brackets symmetrically placed so the speakers may readily be hung vertically with either the tweeter or woofer on top, or horizontally. There are also integrated spacers on the back so the speakers stand out a little from the wall, making a space for wiring and the unique downward firing ports behind each speaker.And here’s my only gripe — the speakers do not come with any mounting template, hardware, or mounting instructions. You are on your own to figure out mounting. And the binding posts for speaker wire (which are high quality and will accept bare wire, spades or banana plugs) are placed at an odd angle that does not work well with banana plugs, unless you cut a pretty big rectangular hole in the wall behind the speaker — otherwise the speakers will not sit flush on the wall on the integrated spacers if you use regular-size banana plugs. I solved the problem using three inch spade-to-banana plug adapter wires (also available from Amazon), which allowed me to connect spades to the binding posts and then plug in banana plugs that hung down inside the wall, and did not interfere with the speaker sitting flush on the wall on the integrated spacers. All this means that mounting requires careful planning, very careful measurement, the proper tools and drill bits, and mounting hardware that can readily and safely support ten pounds. Not impossible, by any means, but not something to be done casually in a few minutes.The sound makes it worth the trouble. I have these paired with an ELAC Alchemy preamp and amplifier that are stashed in the afore-mentioned closet. Stereo imaging is excellent, and the highs and mid-range are crystal-clear and beautifully balanced. The bass is, as it would be for most bookshelf-size speakers, a little thin and not subwoofer-deep, but it improves over the first few hours of playing as the woofers flex a little. I play mostly jazz and light classical, for which the speakers are ideally suited. Certainly, a subwoofer might make sense for anyone wanting more solid, or deeper, bass.I highly recommend these speakers for those seeking on-wall placement — I have deducted one star for the lack of mounting hardware, template and instructions.

I just received these speaker. They do not look like the pictures: , it was supposed to have the white covers. They came with grey covers only. No protections inside packaging. No film on top of each speaker to protect them... Everything tells me this is not high quality product. It comes with a very limited documentation with general info about the brand and the Oberon line of products .... in several language, but not enough information on how to install the speaker, no template to help you attach the speakers to the wall. There is no clearance between the speaker wire plugs and the wall when you want to install it. I wonder what is the trick to wire the speaker. Even if you use 90 degree banana plugs, the speakers won't be flush with the wall... not even straight. I hoped there was some information in the booklet but it explains much more about items that you don't have in in the box: as like as all other Oberon speakers. I'm so disappointed. This is going to take so much time to install and I'm not even sure how to do it. Perhaps I can convince my wife that I'll make a huge hole in the wall so I can just attach the wires... I'll take some pictures and post them here. Or Oberon should come with special drills to cut the hole.The Danish brand should learn something from their neighbours blue and yellow brand that do not forget the clear installation documentation. I just opened the box and have been asking myself what did you do? Why spending this much money replacing amazing floor standing speaker with these to save some space and for the aesthetic reasons. Perhaps by this weekend, I'm going to be in a better mood and spend 8 hours installing these.

Solo semplici cavi spellati massimo da 2,5mm (purtroppo).Dati gli spazi molto ridotti della mia stanza da studio/lavoro e musica ho voluto provare questi particolari diffusori passivi della danese Dali, così da liberare spazio sul mobile ove tengo piatto/ampli ecc.Mi sono buttato, data la davvero scarsa quantità di materiale e recensioni di vero ascolto presenti Online.Le sto usando con:Piatto: Pro-Ject RPM 1.3;Pre: Pro-Ject Phono Box S2 Ultra;Ampli: Topping MX5 DAC Classe D;Player WAV/FLAC: HiBy R3 PRO SABER.Al momento sto facendo i primi test di ascolto, sia con la musica da vinile che liquida.. adesso ho ordinato dei cavi di alta qualità per vedere cosa cambia nella percezione delle vaie bande di frequenze.Aggiornerò quanto prima questa mia preliminare recensione.I diffusori sono esteticamente molto belli, il design è molto semplice e minimalista ma a me piace. Peccato che non si possano scegliere con le mascherine del colore desiderato, quelle in dotazione non sono male, ma avrei preferito quelle bianche per un effetto "total white".Sono da acquistare a parte ma sono estremamente costose, comunque sono fatte bene ed ho apprezzato i piedini in metallo (non il plastica) e l'inserimento morbido e preciso.La cassa sembra costituita da 2 materiali diversi o forse è solo la verniciatura che è diversa, non sono in grado di capirlo.Il frontale ha un effetto "staccato" rispetto alla cassa, presenta una evidente linea di "spazio vuoto" che rende il design meno banale.. questo presenta gli angoli smussati ed è laccato con un bianco semi opaco.La cassa invece è la "consueta" struttura il legno che ricorda lo MDF, verniciata di un bianco opaco appena satinato, gli angoli sono tutti "vivi" a 90°.La costruzione è bella solida e ogni diffusore pesa circa 4,9Kg e può essere installato a muro/superficie verticale o anche appoggiato su un mobile, libreria ecc.In questo ultimo caso, a primo acchito, non mi sembra che la stabilità sia il massimo.. io eviterei questa configurazione.La scatola originale è arrivata danneggiata con un bel buco.. ed è stato consegnato dentro una seconda scatola (Amazon), questo in perfette condizioni.Fortunatamente niente è stato danneggiato, mi ha sorpreso che le protezioni interne in polistirolo sono solo in alto e in basso.

Firstly, With regards to hanging them on a solid wall, I found that although there are two keyhole slots placed vertically on the rear of the speakers, using just the top slot was all that was needed. Two Brown plugs and two 1 3/4 inch Pan head screws did the trick (there are no screws or plugs included). After slight adjustment, the screws only protrude less than 1/4 inch so comfortably support the weight. It also allows you to use a level once hung to get them perfectly level rather than rely on the perfect placement of two screws positioned vertically.I was disappointed with the sound at first. They sounded rather flat with very little soundstage. After about ten hours use, I noticed the sound really improved and they now sound fantastic, so giving them time to break in before judging pays dividends.IReally recommend these if you have a small room that doesn't have space for speaker stands or floorstanders, although they are a bit pricey.

I could not recommend these speakers as main front speakers, there is a lack in volume (4 me), but I use them as surround set with sub-woofer and it is pretty cool ;) I am quite impressed with them. I originally intended to keep them only as substitution for long awaited different speakers, but now I am just happy with these. They stay at home.I mixed them with KEF Q and I cannot see any problem with it.

Habe einen kompakten aber dennoch kraftvollen Lautsprecher gesucht und bin über diverse Tests zu den Dali Oberon On-Wall gekommen. Klanglich gefallen mir diese sehr gut, werden künftig sicherlich noch durch einen Subwoofer ergänzt, da die ganz tiefen Frequenzen natürlich irgendwann die Fähigkeiten eines so kompakten LS übersteigen. Würde diese aber jeder azeit wieder kaufen. Verarbeitung ist super.

Bisher hatte ich die Kombi Nubert AW 443 und 2 x Nubert WS 103.Damit war ich schon sehr zufrieden. Ich höre zu 95 % Musik und nutze das System selten für den TV.Zwischenzeitlich waren mir aber die Nubert zu schwach im Grundton, vor allem wenn man leise in der Wohnung Musik hörte. Also wollte ich diese Situation verbessern.Deshalb habe ich mir die Dali on wall und auch die Nubert ws 14 zum Probehören bestellt.Nach einem Tag mit den Nubert und einem Tag mit den Dali war die Entscheidung gefallen, aber das war nicht leicht. Beide klingen lebendiger als die bisherigen WS 103.Um es kurz zu machen, die Dali Oberon gefielen mir bei leisem Musikhören besser, sie sind präsenter. Insgesamt hören sich die Dali- LS etwas wärmer an. Nubert klingt halt sauber und technisch!Eventuell trägt ja das Bassreflexsystem dazu bei, dass die Dali LS etwas präsenter sind.Die Dali-Boxen sind gut verarbeitet, dass es besser geht zeigte die vorhandene Konkurrenz, also nicht zuviel erwarten!Der graue Stoff stört mich enorm. Ich möchte diese grauen Klötze nicht an der Wand hängen haben und habe mir nun weiße Abdeckungen bestellt für ca 40,-EURO das Paar. Ärgerlich, dass man dies bei Kauf nicht wählen kann. Die Größe an der Wand finde ich schon grenzwertig, die LS sind schon ganz schöne Klötze, auf Grund dessen wollte ich sie fast schon zurücksenden. Aber letztlich macht der Ton die Musik und es ist ein Kompromiss.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und habe nun ein aufgewertetes 2.1 System, welches vom Klang auch Standboxen in nichts nachsteht.Qualitativ von der Verarbeitung geht es besser, von vorneherein mehr Auswahl bei der Bespannung wäre schön, denn das treibt die Kosten nochmal nach oben.Entgegen anderen Aussagen ging der Wandanschluss der Kabel ohne Probleme und die Aufhängung ist auch gut. Ich konnte direkt die alten Aufhängungspunkte, ohne Änderung nutzen.Deshalb gibt es von mir für den Klang eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Für das Gesamtkonzept gibt es 4 Sterne von mir.

Bisher hatte ich ein Set von Canton im Einsatz: Ergo 91 dc als Frontlautsprecher, AV 950 als Center und Karat 920 dc als Rears. Dazu einen Subwoofer der Firma Nubert ( Nubox AW 443) Ich war mit den Lautsprechern eigentlich immer sehr zufrieden. Nur der Surroundbereich war wegen der nicht optimalen Aufstellung der Rears (Sitzplatz direkt an der Wand) ein bisschen problematisch. Ich bin dann auf die On wall Lautsprecher der Marke Dali gestoßen und hatte ursprünglich vor, diese nur als Surround-Lautsprecher einzusetzen. Da die bisherigen Standlautsprecher optisch und auch akustisch sehr dominant in unserem relativ kleinen Wohnzimmer waren, entschieden wir, die On Walls auch als Fronts einzusetzen und dazu einen Oberon Vokal als Center zu bestellenNach der Installtion mit dem AVR (Denon 1500) eingemessen, und probegehört. Wir stellten sofort fest, dass das Set in Punkto Sprachverständlichkeit, Auflösung und auch Pegel absolut gute Arbeit leistet. Die Basswiedergabe ist gemessen am relativ geringen Volumen der Boxen und der kleinen Chassis schon sehr gut und vor allen Dingen schön knackig. Hätte ich so nicht erwartet. Die in Testberichten häufig gemachte Aussage "klingen größer, als sie sind" kann ich aus eigener Erfahrung nur unterschreiben. Ich bin sehr froh, dass wir uns für dieses Boxenset entschieden haben. Für mich eine tolle Lösung in Räumen mit nicht ganz soviel Platz und Einschränkungen bei der Platzierung der Lautsprecher.Von mir eine absolute Empfehlung

habe sie mit der Oberon 1 im A/B Modus verglichen und der Sieger war für mich trotz selbiger Lautsprecher-Bestückung die Oberon On-Wall. Der Grund dafür war ein breiteres Bühnenbild und etwas mehr Natürlichkeit. Muss aber dazu sagen, dass ich die Zensor 5 normalerweise noch dran hängen habe, die vielleicht auch noch ein Upgrade bekommt, jedoch gefällt mir die Kombination Zensor 5 + Oberon On-Wall sehr gut. Ein A/B Vergleich zur Zensor 1 habe ich nicht gemacht, weil der Klangvorteil zu deutlich war. Jedoch, wenn ich beim Testen zuerst die Oberon 1 angehört hätte, dann hätte ich es auf ein A/B-Vergleich ankommen lassen. Der Sieger wäre zwar auch die Oberon gewesen, jedoch ob es mir das Wert gewesen wäre, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Auf jeden Fall bin ich mit der On-Wall Lösung sehr glücklich.

Diese Rezension bezieht sich auf die Lautsprecher Dali Oberon on wall in weiss.Habe sie als Rear Lautsprecher im Einsatz in einem Oberon 5.1 Set mit XTZ 10.17 Edge sub.Ich sitze mit der couch leider direkt an der Rückwand des Wohnzimmers.Und diese Lautsprecher schlagen sich trotzdem klasse, aufgehängt mit ca. 1.5m Abstand zum Sitzplatz! Man hat nicht das gefühl dass man angeschrien wird, weil sie halt direkt nach vorne wegstrahlen, was mir WIRKLICH gut gefällt.Gefällt mir deutlich besser als alles was ich bis jetzt als rear hatte (teufel consono 35 und Heco victa 201).Kaufempfehlung meinerseits für Leute, die Ihre Couch direkt an der Rückwand stehen haben!
