The text on the back of pots and packets etc can be ridiculously tiny these days so a magnifying glass has become an essential item.This one has a nice weight and balance. It’s comfortable to hold and grip as the handle is made from soft rubber.The glass itself is nice and clear and works well, I can see the small print without difficulty now. I’m happy with the quality and can recommend it.

Small size so more suited for small areas of text or whatever needs magnifying. Only a basic thing, doesn't light up or anything, but handy to have around. Has the effect of roughly doubling the size of things at its maximum focus distance. Also it does have a rubbery grip, as implied by the pictures in the listing.
