Receive these just a couple days ago figured it'd be a while before I could evaluate them but today proved that they are 5 star ready. They are made out of what appears to be good quality material. strong snap and a good strong spring. I attach them to my golf cart while I go around my little farm doing chores so that my dogs can sniff around and be with me at the same time. I have a 75 pound male boxer who absolutely hates squirrels but don't they all. I had no more then stopped to let them off the cart when he saw a squirrel and took off when he got to the end of that 26 foot chord he was flying and it jerked him on his back he had a harness on of course, the cord didn't break the spring didn't break the clamp didn't break the only thing it did do is for that little arrow on the picture shows you where it cut through the collar where the cord comes out and it still held up. Now you wouldn't want to be holding on to this thing if a dog took off at breakneck speed when it got to the end of that cord if you didn't let go it's gonna jerk your arm right out of its socket I'm telling you this from experience and this cord is not going to break.

My guy is 9.2lbs and this has made our park walks much nicer. Giving him a little more freedom but not too much.

This is a great leash for the value. I struggle a bit with unlocking it but it seems to be an operator issue and I think I am just not doing it correctly. Sometimes it unlocks easily and other times it takes me a couple of tries. Locking works well, it is just unlocking that I find I need to try a few times before it unlocks, which in the overall use is less important than being able to lock quickly. Overall, I love the length and durability. Edit - it was operator error and I now have it figured out. Great leash and don't get frustrated if you don't get the release and lock figured out right away. Take some time to practice before you have you dog leashed and pulling on it.
