I like the smaller bowl for some things that I mix. Glad I ordered one for myself & also one for each of my Granddaughters. Saves time, having to wash to reuse the one that came with my mixer ( a gift from my very special Daughter in Law & Son).

My original bowl was too big to drag out for small jobs. Broke my hand mixer so instead of new mixer bought smaller bowl. I will definitely be getting more use out of my big mixer now.

I have a five-quart KitchenAid mixer. I love having a second bowl for those times when I need to mix two different things, such as when I am making a torte that requires one bowl for most of the ingredients but another bowl to whip the egg whites. I used to use a hand mixer to whip the egg whites, which is a big nuisance as they take several minutes.Now I can use this three-quart stainless steel bowl with the stand mixer to whip the egg whites. It is much more convenient and much faster.This three-quart bowl is easier to store than a second five-quart bowl.The pour cover that came with the stand mixer also fits on the three-quart bowl.Of course, the bowl is shorter than the five-quart bowl, so that will affect what ingredients you choose to put in this bowl.

Quality is always a roll of the dice when said product's come from overseas. Seems like most everything is shipped to us from you know where, including this Mixing Bowl. Packaging was okay, no bumps or bruises. It fits well on the KitchenAid mixer, (see pics). It might be just a tad small in size, but shouldn't mess much with mixing volume. What I absolutely love about this mixing bowl is the handle! So much easier to move the filled bowl around when using the handle. A simple addition in design really makes a difference in usage and mobility!Bottom Line: Good quality at a decent price. If looking for a mixing bowl for your KitchenAid Mixer that's should last, and is way convenient, you've found it!

Had lot of problems with this item. Paddle with silicon scraper disintegrated after a couple of uses. Right from the get-go, the machine made a thumpy noise with every turn of the bowl. I bought a regular stainless steel paddle. Clearly whipping egg whites needed a smaller bowl, So, I had to use the mixer as a hand mixer in one of my smaller bowls. I decided to see if I could buy a smaller bowl from Amazon. There were none to be had. Then I did a search for Mini Artisan KitchenAid. There were none on Amazon in fact there were no more Mini Artisan mixers on the website. I asked Amazon Customer Service what was up with that, and they told me to go the KitchenAid website. Their website had no attachments nor any Mini Artisan Mixers. I called their customer service to ask if the model has been discontinued, and was told Customer Service was closed and to call back during regular hours. I had to search to find what "regular hours" were and finally found they were open until 6 PM ET. OK, it was only 2 in the afternoon ET. I think KitchenAid discontinued the model, and therefore all their attachments. I received no notification they were going to do this. I was so frustrated I wrote this long rant. BEWARE!
