maybe it's because it's on an ego, but this string lasts a long time. i don't run hard against walls because i don't need to, but when i do kick it up, it holds up well. i would recommend this for other brands too.

Please do not buy the version that comes pre-spooled onto an EGO spool as it is much more expensive and you get a fraction of the amount as string. It is extremely easy to learn to load your own string onto your existing spool. The gauge is 2.4 mm so it is pretty durable for typical usage in the back yard. 50 meters will last years.
