I like the size of these containers especially the depth and I especially like the fact that they are see-thru. They are a bit flimsy and tend to crack if not handled with care like dropping one from the freezer. They have gone through the freezer and the top rack of the dishwasher many times and they do seem to become more fragile/brittle-like after a dozen or so washes. Even so, they are well worth the cost. This is my second order because they serve my purpose which is for food prep, storing leftovers and especially sending leftovers home with family or friends. When I go camping, I prepare meals ahead of time and freeze them for pot luck dinners with my camping buddies. I have not tried microwaving in them because I just don't microwave anything in plastic and that's just me. I use them for craft items, sewing items, office items, and just about anything I need to hold something that will fit. NOTE: I have read where people have complained about having difficulty removing the lids. On the top of each lid on one corner is the word "open" with an arrow pointing to the corner. It is not easy to see but if you run your finger over it you will feel it. This is where you lift the lid to remove it. I use a black Sharpie Pen and run it over the letters so I don't have to second guess where it is. For whatever reason, when you lift from this corner, the lid comes right off. Hopefully the manufacturer can improve on the sturdiness.

Once you put anything in these containers they twist and warp. They are very thin. Useless.

Look Like they Would Have been Decent Bowls. Haven't used any yet though. No lids were in the box with the bowls. Also they are 48oz not 50oz as written.
