Ich verwende den Seitenschneider für den Plastikmodellbau. Habe auch den fast doppelt so teuren von Tamiya. Allerdings funktioniert dieser gleich gut wenn nicht sogar besser. Kann ihn nur empfehlen.

When the Japanese set out to make something, quality really does seem to be the priority. They build up to a standard rather than down to a price. I'm an engineer/machinist and a huge tool nerd and a can honestly say these are nothing short of beautiful! The fit and finish is flawless! The jaws are truly sharp and the edges meet perfectly. Very clean cut on plastics and they're perfect for cutting off the excess on zip ties as they don't leave any jagged bits of plastic behind.They're fine for copper too but not really their intended purpose. Perfect for model makers.The blocky over moulded handles are surprisingly comfortable and the machining is absolutely perfect! Every single edge has been chamfered so as not to be sharp but the bevels are so incredibly fine, you almost can't see them with the naked eye! You can however feel them. Frankly, I'm at a loss as to how they make any profit at these prices!! World class stuff! I'll be going to this brand for all my small pliers. Engineer is the manufacturer responsible for Vamplier products which are equally well made. Beautiful!!

I have been using these nippers for about a year and I can say that the quality is very, very good. That is why I bought myself another pair. The more expensive and beautiful Knipex broke in the second week of the same work.

Die Zange ist einfach super. Sehr scharf und ergonomisch. Top Verarbeitung. Ich besitze andere Zangen von Knitex und Wiha und die hier ist auf jeden Fall gleichwertig wenn nicht besser.

Als Deutscher ist man ja von Werkzeugmarken verwöhnt, bei mir mit z.b. Metabo und Wiha direkt vor der Haustür. Aber die Qualität und Präzision der Engineer Produkte ist zumindest für manche echt nochmal ein Level für sich, tolle Haptik & Optik.

Bündig und neben dem abgewinkelten Seitenschneider von Engineer der wohl beste Underdog für Gundpla. Imo der beste überhaupt aber am Ende entscheidet es sich doch individuell.

Sehr sehr scharfes und präzises WerkzeugIdeal zum Austrennen von Modellbau-Gußteilen, fast kein Nachschleifen erforderlichFederstahl würde ich aber mit einem robusteren Werkzeug schneiden..
