I know this is great quality. I have the larger one, however, the cover would not unlock to open and the instruction manual was not in English. The condition it box came in is not presentable for a shower gift. It didn’t come in a separate box. The packing sticker label was attached to the box it’s making a mess of the box taking it off the cover of the box is split on the corners and one is kind of cut off.

I bought this from Amazon Warehouse (U.K.) and got an incredible bargain, I'm guessing it was returned because the instructions are in Spanish only. It didn't put me off because I used to have a pressure cooker so understand how they work, and any translation app will take care of the rest.It is incredibly easy to use and is good quality; I'm expecting it to last me a long time. It really cuts cooking times down (stock from a chicken carcass in 15 mins) and so saves fuel. Pressure cookers are excellent for preparing food with a high liquid content such as soup or stew, but also excellent for steaming vegetables and puddings - it really cuts down the cooking time of a Christmas pudding - as well as less well-known uses such as preserving (bottling, preparing the fruit for marmalade).I knocked one star off because it didn't come with a trivet which is needed in many pressure cooking recipes.
