j’ai testé les abrasifs granat pour le ponçage de menuiseries avec un retrait de vernis et peinture. l’efficacité est excellente, comme la résistance, puisque l’on arrive à faire de belles surfaces sans changer de triangle, notamment en le faisant tourner puisque les faces sont de même taille.

I thought sanding a garage door would be easy. It was not. Almost gave up on the project then researched about Rotex 90 and these discs. They are very effective and long lasting. And their dust extraction with the vacuum is unparalleled. So specifically Granaat is a very good sanding disc due to efficiency and long lasting grit

I work almost exclusively with "exotic" wood species - especially rosewoods. I used Granat P 40 & P 60 with the Festool Rotex 90 to smooth some poorly resawn Honduran Rosewood. Normal abrasives and sanders hardly touch this rock hard species but the Granat did the job and held up for a surprisingly long time. It left no deep scratches in the wood and removed a great deal of material quickly. I compared it with Rubin P 50 which simply did not seem to affect the wood at all. The Granat is a bit pricey but holds up so well and does such a great job that I suspect I will be using it extensively. I have not yet tried it out in the finer grits.
