These are very sturdy and work great for applying pressure to leather products. The clips are a bonus.

Sometimes on my older cowboy boots the welts bend up or get waves in them from wet ground/grass etc. I use this too to bend the welts back straight. Just wet a towel with hot water. Wrap it around your soles and just above the welt. After a few minutes use this tool to straighten them. Keep adjusting the welt as it drys every 10 minutes or so. Works perfect and doesn't leave marks. Geat tool!!

They are a little rough around the edges, and the leather on the jaws to protect your leather project, should be a little thicker, but if your ordering these for a leather shop, that's an easy fix. They do the job, and for a desirable price.

I love that there is leather on the inside of the clamp so that it does not mark or damage the keychain. It securely and evenly clamps the keychain closed. Highly recommend.
