Simply made vinyl-type fabric (same as used for patio furniture covers) sewn with a sturdy elastic band around the bottom. Fits onto my old meat slicer easily with a little room to spare. Material is a good thickness to keep out dust and to last a good long time. I’m very happy to use this instead of the trash bag I had been using!

I was thinking this was a lot thinner than I expected but in looking up the description for 420D Oxford this is what I found....Lightweight and Durable: Made from 420D nylon, this Oxford cloth combines lightweight properties with durability, making it ideal for applications that require portability. Waterproof: The PU coating on the back provides excellent waterproof protection, ensuring items stay dry in various wet conditions.The Amazon listing doesn't mention anything about PU coating but based on info I found that appears to be standard. I'm not sure what the PU coating is but the outside is black and the interior a silver so maybe that's the coating. It does fit my Chefs Choice model 610 slicer I bought YEARS ago and, with the elastic, it covers it well and that's what I hoped for. We don't have enough house storage to store the slicer so it's stored in the garage in the original box but yet still collects some dust. Adding this cover I think will keep things free from that until there comes a day when I can properly store. I'm not sure I'd send this thru a washer, especially one with an agitator, as it just appears very thin and looks like an agitator could shred it or cause issues with the coating. I could be completely wrong as I'm not all that familiar with the fabric it's made of but, in my opinion, if it covers my grinder and keeps the dust off I'd be good with an occasional rinse off. If what you're looking to do is keep your grinder free of dust I think this will do the job.
