Much cheaper than original Mercedes part, but quite a bit noisier as the rotor is not well balanced. At less than half the price and going into an old high miler it will do the job and is value for money

I bought this blower as a replacement for the one in my 2012 Mercedes C-Class as the bearing had failed. The plastic housing turned out not to be identical to the original and wouldn't fit. As a solution I removed the entire motor assembly from each housing and placed the new blower into the original plastic housing. At least the motor assemblies are identical and it's just a push fit so no tools required for the exchange. The electrical connecting plug was also different to the one fitted on the car, so again just swapped them over. It was now possible to fit the new blower in the old housing back into it's location behind the glove box. Nice and quiet just as it should be, so happy enough with the solution, but at least for me, it wasn't as straightforward as it could have been.
