The whole point of a yarn bowl is for the yarn to be able to feed smoothly to you as you work on your project. Yarn gets caught on rough spots on the holes and places where the yarn is supposed to feed. It needs to be sanded a bit. I've ended up using this to just hold supplies rather than as a yarn bowl.

This piece is beautiful, but is not good for chunky yarn. I used it to fluff yarn as I work, but I keep the yarn in a bag to help unravel the skeins as I work.

I have a house full of crocheters, so I've been picking up yarn bowls lately, and this is by far my absolute favorite. (Now it's *my* yarn bowl.) It has a very large capacity, and it's just as beautiful as pictured. Everything has been sanded smooth, so the yarn isn't getting caught on any rough edges. Seriously, this is the most gorgeous yarn bowl I've ever seen, so I have no problem leaving it out around the house. It's super beautiful. 10/10. I'd definitely recommend this as a gift for anyone who crochets or knits. It's a showstopper.

I was immediately captivated by this yarn bowl. It is so beautiful. I love the color and the style. It’s a lovely shade of brown.It’s a solidly built bowl. It works perfectly for my needs. It keeps my yarn from tangling. It’s not as heavy as I thought it would be. It holds more than I anticipated.Overall, I love it and anticipate using it for a very long time.
