Bought it 2 times and there’s dents on the tank for both times. So inconvenient! Amazon should flag them! I don’t even know why their are selling bad quality tanks.

This is a nice, compact desalianator, which is what I wanted it for(it filters out a lot of other contaminants out as well). I tried it on a container of skunky, salty harbour-water, and it came out tasting like clean, crystal-clear springwater. It is well made and fits nicely into a small kitchen cabinet I have. Follow directions and keep track of your lines carefully when installing, as it is easy to make an error. My only complaint was that not all the blue lock/snap rings (that lock the lines in place) were installed on the unit from factory. Before you start to install the filter cartridges, check all those factory-assembled connections; the snaps are included,(in a plastic bag) but not installed. After you have everything together it will potentially be difficult to install any missing snaps, as well as the leaks you would have if they are not in place. A bit pricey, but I would RECOMMEND this.

I moved into a new place and my neighbor got me talking about my Zero Water and was asking about the cost, etc., I did a search and RO systems came up in my results....I proceeded down a research rabbit hole and settled on this unit. The install was pretty straight forward. I think if you have a 10% mechanical aptitude you can get this knocked out without needing to contact support for guidance. With a little planning, clearing out the cabinet under the sink you can do this pretty quick and easy. My only complaint is the supply connection and the faucet connection from the filter head rest against the wall where it is mounted. Would be a better install and less worry with the tubing pressed and wondering if over time will kink and cause a leak. So far it is holding and the depth and curve makes it less of a concern, but I may change the mount to not have it rest against the cabinet wall.I did some test before and after and for reference, my water in this area is pretty good from the tap. ZW would get it down to 6ppm no problem. from the tap I would get 136ppm. after the initial 2 flushes i was pleased to see 8ppm from this system.needless to say, my neighbor inherited my old ZW and i now have twice the capacity in the storage tank which is more than enough.An aside, i was about to not buy an RO system because one of the reviews I read had me concerned about water consumption. They said their consumption was eating over a third of their usage after the install. I would implore you to read the flush and regular use instructions. if you leave the valve open at the filter head, water WILL run continuously and you will have little to no pressure at the faucet, you will only create waste at the ratio based on what you pour from the tank if that valve is closed.
