This is not easy to use. You have to line it up to get the trap door to open to allow the stuff through. I would have thought there'd be a controlled amount that comes out (for portioning like cat food or something like that), but it just stays open as long as you hold the button open.Also there are 6 equal partitions. Would have preferred some customizable partitions. After all, what's the likelihood that you're using all of them at the same rate? Especially if you're cooking something like... rice?Eventually you'll probably want to clean this. It's not easy to disassemble. You have to unscrew the middle pole part, then pull stuff apart. Some of these things are put together with friction and pop-tabs. So you gotta pull really hard and pray none of the plastic tabs fall apart. Eventually they will, and this thing will be pretty much useless.Overall, this could have been salvageable if the pieces were more easily disassembled/reassembled for cleaning. It's just a clunky process and annoying enough that I would not recommend it to anyone trying to use this for their own food. I'd maybe recommend this for decorative beads or single circle lego pieces or something like that where you're not EATING the contents and you need some organization. So for that it gets 2 stars.
