I bought this for myself as I work outdoors and I am feeling the cold as I am 60 years old. I wore it on my postal round yesterday, it was 3 degrees most of the 6 hours that I was outdoors. It had been snowing but was dry all day with a wind that made the temperature feel about -4. I set the temperature on the gilet to the white setting (medium) and kept both front and back heating panels on for 6 hours, reducing the setting down to blue (low) periodically, as I did not want to run out of battery charge. After 6 hours the battery finally died but luckily I had finished my shift. I was warm and cozy all day. I wore it on top of a long sleeved t shirt and hi vis vest and under my outer storm coat. Size Large was a little loose but that's fine as I will be able to wear it over a hoodie if required. It worked well, heated where it was supposed to heat and the heated collar made it very cozy. At £63 it was a bit of an expense for me but good value for money compared to other brand. I would have liked a longer life battery with higher spec, so I will buy another one of higher specification, so that I can be using one and charging another in my van as I drive, thus ensuring I have the ability to use the gilet constantly. The gilet looks nice as a top garment and is made of nice soft material. Hopefully it keeps on working as, now that I have experienced heat on the go, I don't want to be without it.
