This is a beautifully crafted pale blue smocked dress in a classic A line style. The material is 95% Polyester and 5% Elastane, creases easily and is not that easy to iron, but swishes elegantly around the legs and feels lovely to wear.The dress is ruched in the bodice, reminiscent of childhood dresses in the 1970s, and has flutter ruffle sleeves which can be worn on or off the shoulder. The skirt is very long (to the ankles on a 156cm tall lady) and has three tiers with two bands of lacy embellishment which add to its elegance.The high price tag is slightly off-putting for a beach dress, but you cannot quibble with the quality of Grace Karin garments.

I ordered this summer dress for my wife as she likes this company, and has had a few dresses from them over the last year or so, they have all been a really nice fit and style, here is her review on it.I got this dress in an L which is a16-18 UK sizing, I am usually a 14-16 but as this was between sizing's I went with the bigger for the bust sizing.This dress has a smocked top and it fits beautifully (I think I'd have struggled with a smaller size) the shoulders can be worn on or off the shoulder so is perfect for day and evening wear in the summer, and especially for taking on holiday, the skirt part is tiered and is quite long, it came to mid calf and I'm 5'2" tall, I really like how so far down there are a couple of lace trims running around the skirt width.It is made from a 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane mix and feels lightweight and comfortable, I have washed it on a 30 degree wash and hanger dried it, it had no issues like shrinkage and colour fade.At £35.99 (with a 40% off voucher) at the time of writing this review, I really like this dress, from the fit to the look and I can't wait for the warmer weather, this will be my main go to summer dress this year, I would definitely recommend it.

I'm a size 14 - 16 and the size large fits well. Listed as a 16-18 so it does run small. I'm just under 5ft and it comes to my ankles. The top is tight fit and then it flares out from the waist. The lower material is a fraction shiny but overall it looks nice and feels good on. Not had a smock dress for years, so on receipt of this it gave me some good memories.I particularly like Grace Karin dresses and find them to be very well made and a great fit.This dress is ruched in the bodice to the waist and has ruffle sleeves which I like.The skirt is mid calf and layered with two very nice lace bands running around the width of the skirt.Its lightweight for the summer which is great and you can wear it on or off the shoulders.Once again, good value for money and I would recommend.

I ordered this in a Large size for my partner who is around a size 16, sometimes more 14-16 and the Large fits her well.This is of course quite a long dress and comes down to just above her ankles, she likes this fit though, and I know she genuinely likes it as she wears it rather than putting it at the back of the wardrobe.The quality is really good, no issues with stitching etc. The dress also washes well although the bottom section is not the easiest to iron but do not be put off by this.The material is quite thin so is certainly a summer dress.Good quality and recommended
