We were quite lucky to find these units at the price-point they are at. The previous control unit on our designer shower, which we had installed in our new build some 10 years ago now, sadly became detached from its wall mounting, hit the deck and never recovered. These units are now no longer manufactured, so we faced a hefty bill to replace the controller (over £600 in other stores), or re-plumb and re-tile our bathroom without it. Fortunately I found one on Amazon which was a bit more reasonable cost-wise and was shipped over promptly from Germany. Programming is a nightmare though - you have to be quick on the buttons else you need to reset the main control unit and start all over again. We are stuck on Stage 2 which are the temperature control/shower timer settings, so have 30 seconds of hot water before needing to press the start button again but, as it took so long to get to this point through all the menus, we will live with it!Note for self: think about servicing and parts availability before indulging your inner interior designer!
