Backed with solid science, the dimples in these rather durable-feeling flights and short stems increases airflow and reduces drag much as it does on a golf ball. Thing is, if you can't throw a dart straight without dimples you won't suddenly be able to throw a dart straight with them. Even if you are a pro-player and assuming the dimples do anything at all, at best you'll have to adjust your throw slightly. That doesn't necessarily mean more accuracy, that comes from the arm.These do feel like extremely good quality however and the fit is solid and feels made-to-last. Plus, you can never have too many flights. There's a lot of hype and snake oil in the world of darts but these do at least feels like they are a step above your typical stuff. Very nice product.

Really great flights and stems. I've used dimpled flights before, but never dimpled stems. I feel like it's all a bit gimmicky, but what's important is the stems are tough and feel like they'll last a good while. The packet says they're made from "toughened composite material," I have no idea what that is, but they do feel closer to carbon stems than regular nylon ones. They come with flight rings and do grip the flights very tight.The flights are very thin, but seem to be quite strong for their weight and thickness. The stems are very short, at around 30mm and the flights are a No6 shape, which are just a touch slimmer than the standard No2. I'm a fan of simple designs on flights and these are about as simple as they come, just solid black with the small dimplex logo in the corner and that's your lot.Overall I think this is a great value set. Both the stems and flights are good quality, and the dimplex design, if that's your thing, is well executed and feels well manufactured. Solid stems and flights for sure.
